Recipe from Bon Appet, June 1993. Enough buttercream to cover and decorate a three tier wedding cake of 6", 9" and 12' double layers.


Butterscotch Pudding  (Mary)

This is a great dessert to make with little girls out on a nature walk.


Carrot Cake  (Clare)

From Bon Appetit May 1993. Used originally for Carole and Alex's wedding cake with a rich cream based buttercream over a fondant of marscapane.


Carrot Cake Frosting  (Clare)

From Bon Appetit May 1993. If you want to pipe the edges, use a really big star tip. This makes for a great looking cake


Chocolate Cake  (Clare)

The best and most reliable chocolate cake recipe. Easier and cheaper than a cake mix. Fancy it up with Grand Marnier syrup and cover with a chocolate ganache.


Very Best Chocolate Chip Cookies  (Clare)

These are great, no eggs, no trans fats and lots of fiber.
